The Sixth Day Childbirth is independently owned and operated by Michelle Delp, RN, ICCE. 

Michelle is a Registered Nurse with over ten years experience in Family Practice.  Certified in 2001 as a Childbirth Educator and in 2002 as a Birth Doula, Michelle taught Labor/Birth and Pregnancy Wellness classes for three years through Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. She established her business in Bradford county, Pennsylvania in June, 2004 after relocating from the southeastern part of the state.  Michelle has taught hundreds of couples how to have healthy pregnancies and positive birth outcomes. 

Michelle's experience as a birth partner has included single women, couples, high-risk pregnancies, twins, natural and medicated deliveries. 

Michelle is certified as a Childbirth Educator through the International Childbirth Education Association ().   She completed the DONA Birth Doula Training in 2002, and the DONA Postpartum Doula Training in 2008.  She is licensed as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania and New York and is certified in Adult/Child/Infant CPR.   Nursing license, CPR and Childbirth Education certifications, FBI/Childline/State Police clearances are all available for you to review at the first interview.

Michelle is constantly updating her skills through classes, book and journal reading, and educational conferences to provide you with the best and most current information on pregnancy, postpartum, and newborn care.  Most recent continuing education includes:
